Hello, Dave Eberhardt here. I'm a musician in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Over the years, I've been a live performer, a studio musician and producer, and a guitar teacher. These days I'm mostly content to make music in my home studio. I call it "The Tone Parlour."
At ten years old, I started taking guitar lessons, then got interested in audio production when I was about twelve or thirteen. In high school, I got my first taste of home studio recording, and have been hooked ever since. I bought my own first recording rig around the time I was finishing college, and assembled a studio space in the basement of my first house. It allowed me to start recording guitars for other people's projects without having to leave home as much. Over the years that dorky little studio space evolved into what it is now (bigger, but still dorky).
I used to perform live quite a bit. I had my own band called Fiat Lux, and later we just shortened it to LUX. Mostly I'm known for playing guitar in the Katie Reider Band, but I played with a couple of other artists on the Blue Jordan Records roster- Gwendolyn Speaks and David Wolfenberger. I've performed all over the right half of the USA- off the top of my head... Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, West Virginia, Tenessee, Georgia, and Texas. These days, I stay pretty close to home.
